General Terms and Conditions – Savoy 1918

Reservations and Confirmation:

Your reservation becomes binding once it has been confirmed and you have received a booking confirmation. This may be given verbally, in writing, or through the booking system. The reservation applies only to the number of guests stated in the confirmation, regardless of the maximum occupancy of the room.

Age Requirement:

To book a room at Savoy 1918, you must be at least 18 years old. The hotel may require valid identification upon arrival and reserves the right to deny check-in if such identification cannot be presented.

Cancellations and No-Shows:

Unless otherwise stated, reservations can be cancelled free of charge until 16:00 on the day of arrival. If you fail to show up without prior cancellation, or if you cancel after 16:00, you will be charged for the first night. Should the hotel incur costs as a result of your booking, you may also be held liable for these expenses.

Changes:

You may make changes to your reservation free of charge until 16:00 on the day of arrival, unless otherwise specified in your booking confirmation. All changes are subject to availability. Please note that prices may vary depending on the new dates, and you cannot demand the same rate if the stay is moved to higher-priced periods.

Early Departure:

If you have booked a longer stay but wish to check out earlier than planned, the hotel must be notified no later than 12:00 on the day of departure. If you check out later, you will be charged for one additional night.

Check-in and Check-out:

Rooms are available from 15:00 on the day of arrival. Check-out must be completed by 12:00 on the day of departure. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible for an additional fee. Please contact the reception to inquire about availability.

Liability for Damages:

As a guest, you are responsible for any damages caused to the hotel due to negligence or irresponsible behavior. The hotel will claim compensation for repair costs and similar expenses. All rooms are non-smoking. Violation of the smoking ban will result in a cleaning fee of NOK 2,000, charged upon check-out.

Storage of Valuables and Luggage:

Valuables can be stored in lockable safety boxes where available. Luggage may be kept in a locked luggage room. The hotel does not undertake to store items of high value, as this may compromise the safety of both guests and staff. The hotel is not liable for loss of or damage to luggage or valuables kept in guest rooms, safety boxes, or luggage storage facilities.
